Higher National Diploma in Engineering
To achieve a Higher Diploma in Engineering, learners must complete a level 2 principal learning qualification in engineering, a level 2 project qualification, level 2 functional skills in English, ICT and mathematics, and any valid combination of qualifications listed as additional and specialist learning that equal or exceed 180 guided learning hours. Guided learning hours are the number of hours of teacher-supervised or directed study time required to teach a qualification.
