Bachelor of Law (LLB)
London Academy for Higher Education provides tutor support for students wishing to pursue Bachelor of Law (LLB) from University of London (External Degree).
Introduction
The LLB degree is of international standing and has provided the first step on a career route for many thousands of practising lawyers around the world. The wide variety of topics covered provides an important foundation not only for those intending to practise law as solicitors and barristers, but also for paralegal personnel such as magistrates' court clerks, police and legal executives who are seeking further knowledge of the law and enhancement of their qualifications.
Structure and Syllabus
The LLB degree† is offered under four schemes of examination:
Scheme A:
· 12 subjects taken in 3 parts
· Study period: 3-8 years
Scheme B:
· 12 subjects taken in 4 parts
· Study period: 4-8 years
· Intended for students who wish to study at a more measured pace. Unless you are studying full time at an institution we strongly advise you to choose Scheme B.
Graduate Entry Route A:
· 9 subjects taken in 2 parts
· Study period: 2-8 years
Graduate Entry Route B:
· 9 subjects taken in 3 parts
· Study period: 3-8 years
· Unless you are studying full time at an institution we strongly advise you to choose Graduate Entry Route B.
