Programme: MBA with PGC and PGD/DMS

Entrance Requirements to the Postgraduate Certificate (LAHE DMS STAGE-1) Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration or in Management Studies (LAHE DMS- 2)

The three modules to be completed will be :
Research Methods for Business ;
The Independent Manager
Strategic Management

Students will be able to study through Open Learning with support centre facilities available at the London Academy for Higher Education, Stratford Campus .

Key Note: It is indeed a rigorous programme and students have to be serious in their academic performance and professional development while doing this programme at LAHE.

Applicants must possess one of the following qualifications before they may be considered for admission on the course:

• A Bachelors degree (Recognised Degree)
• Postgraduates are specially welcome
• An approved professional qualification deemed to be of an equivalent standard
• Interview
• Mature students with at least 3 years experience in post involving professional or administrative responsibilities
• Applicants from overseas who have attended institutions where the medium of instruction is not English must satisfy the College of their proficiency in English by providing evidence of one of the following :
• An English language test for entry into British Universities organised by British Council (I.E.L.T.S)
• Cambridge First Certificate Proficiency
  TOEFL or SAT test results
  GMAT Preferably

2-PGD in Management Studies /DMS (Stage 2)

LAHE DMS 2(Unit 2): Management Organisation (Theory and Practice)
LAHE DMS 2(Unit 3): International Business (Case study Methods)
LAHE DMS 2(Unit 4): The Art of Managing Information Resources
LAHE DMS 2(Unit 5): Essentials of Strategic Marketing

3-MBA (Final semester) February -- June

• LAHE MBA (FS 1): Business Research Methods (Teaching Unit)
• LAHE MBA (FS 2): Any one of the following teaching units,
  • -Effective Negotiation/Communication Skills
  • -Project Management
  • -Advanced Leadership Skills
    

MBA (FS 3):

Following successful completion of the LAHE Diploma in Management Studies, LAHE students will be able to be considered for admission into the Master of Business Administration Degree with Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh

Students who have completed the DMS can be accepted onto the MBA  with advanced standing and will require to successfully complete 3 taught modules and an MBA Dissertation .
